Well, we have had a full and fun week celebrating Easter! It started with about 20 of our friends coming over on Palm Sunday for a yummy ham dinner. During the week leading up to Easter we got to read stories with Zeke to help him understand the reason we celebrate Easter. On Saturday we had a day filled with making Easter cookies, hunting for Easter eggs and even having a couple of kids from our apartment complex over to dye Easter eggs with us! Sunday morning we were up early and went to a special Sunrise service. Zeke was SOOO excited to wear his Easter suit and new shoes. However, the first thing he said when he put his shoes on was, "These hard to walk in Mommy. These aren't very comfy Mommy." Ha! Welcome to the world of Easter shoes! It was so cold outside, and of course, we forgot jackets. People kept offering Zeke their coats, and he kept saying "I don't want that." He was too proud of his suit to cover it up! I'm afraid we may have created a yearly "New Suit" tradition! After the service, we headed to a beautiful park, which would have been more enjoyable with some warmer weather, but was fun none-the-less. After that we went for a special treat at Dunkin Donuts! Yummy. And then spent the afternoon eating a delicious meal and enjoying fun company at some friends' home! It was a good celebration!
